About the Pentecostal Church 

 

This year will be the 60^th anniversary since the Debden Pentecostal Church was opened in January 1950. You can see some of the early history of the church and photos on our website at www.debden-pentecostal.org.uk. Today we continue to worship the Lord Jesus and seek to share the love of God in the village.

Over the recent years we have been delighted to have had our pastor, Miss Maureen Lee, living here in the village. Maureen started her ministry as a missionary in the Congo and has also had extensive teaching experience. She has enabled us to start up weekly activities for youngsters including Lifekidz for the 5 to 11 year olds and a Parent/Toddler Group on Monday mornings.

If you are free on a Wednesday morning then please feel very welcome to drop into our coffee morning and join with other people from the village over a cup of coffee and cakes. We also have a Luncheon Club, usually on the last Wednesday of each month. Please visit our website for more details.

 

Regular Activities

We warmly welcome you to our regular Sunday services as well as to the meetings we hold during the week.

Our normal weekly activities include:

11 am Morning Worship

6.30 pm Evening service

Monday:

10.00-11.30 am LifeTots , for parents and toddlers

6.00-7.00 pm LifeKidz , for 5 to 11s

Tuesday:

3.00 pm Small Group (Discussion and Prayer)

Wednesday:

10.30-12.00 noon Coffee morning

12.30 pm Lunch club - once a month, see website for details

7.30 pm Small Group (Discussion and Prayer)
